Honey Garlic Glazed Copper River Sockeye Salmon is an easy dish that combines wild salmon with a tasty honey and garlic sauce. With clarified butter and a quick finish in the oven, this meal is fork-tender and delicious. This dish, which can be topped with pickled red onions, showcases the amazing quality of Copper River sockeye salmon.
Ingredients
1/2 cup honey
6 cloves garlic, minced
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2 tbsp clarified butter
Directions
1 Pat Copper River sockeye salmon dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides, preheat oven to 400° F.
2 Heat sauté pan on medium-high heat, add clarified butter and heat to simmering.
3 Place Copper River sockeye salmon flesh-side down in a pan and sear for 2-3 minutes.
4 Mix honey and garlic.
5 Transfer Copper River sockeye salmon to a foil-lined sheet pan, skin-side down.
6 Apply honey-garlic glaze to Copper River sockeye salmon, cook for 4-6 minutes, or until flesh separates easily with a fork.
7 Optionally garnish with pickled red onions and pair with steamed broccoli and quinoa, as shown in the photo. Enjoy!
